Serial Burglar Accused Of 27 Commercial Burglaries In Maryland Over Nearly Five Months

A man accused of committing a string of commercial burglaries over the last several months has been arrested, authorities say.

Paul Emanuel, 51, along with two other suspects was arrested in the 10700 block of Hickory Ridge Road after he allegedly robbed a Quick Stop Food Mart on Wednesday, Aug. 10, according to Howard County Police.

Dominick Quarles, 41, and Rolando Morillo Ramirez, 24, were also arrested in connection to the Quick Stop Food Mart robbery.

In addition to the Aug. 10 robbery, Emanuel has been charged in connection to burglaries at several locations:

  • 2 Go Convenience & Deli - 9000 block of Washington Boulevard in Savage:
    • Wednesday, March 16;
    • Sunday, April 24.
  • Pars Market - 9400 block of Snowden River Parkway in Columbia 
    • Wednesday, March 23;
    • Saturday, April 23.
  • Crestmount Wine & Spirits - 7900 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup
    •  Friday, March 18.
  • Home Depot - 9000 block of Snowden River Parkway in Columbia
    • Friday, April 22.

Emanuel has been charged with 27 total counts of burglary, theft, armed robbery, robbery, and destruction of property in the six commercial burglaries and one robbery.

Detectives continue to investigate whether Emanuel is responsible for other similar burglaries.
